PainCare Ancillary Services
Medx Direct
The mission of the MedX Direct Program is to deliver a turnkey PainCare Medx Directmusculoskeletal rehabilitation program for select orthopedic, neurosurgery, pain management, and physiatry practices. The program will advance functional restoration utilizing state-of-the-art computerized MedX medical exercise machines. The goal of the rehabilitation program is to increase strength and range of motion, decrease pain levels, and increase functional abilities, thus enhancing quality of life.

Management Agreement

PainCare Management Services, Inc. (PCMS) has developed a proprietary program to enable physicians to establish or enhance a musculoskeletal rehabilitation program as an integral part of the professional services offered exclusively by the practice to its patients. PCMS will provide, at no cost to the practice, 100% of the equipment, supplies, training in billing, and MedX equipment certification training necessary to deliver a professional and successful program. The practice provides the office space and personnel and manages the billing process. Revenue generated by the program is split with 65% going to the practice and 35% to PCMS.

Training and Certification
Clinician training and educational support are provided on-site through PCMS by a MedX certified trainer. The MedX certification training performed on-site was developed by the Center for Exercise Science, Colleges of Medicine and Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The clinician will be required to complete and pass the MedX certification program.

On-site billing training is provided to practice personnel by PCMS. Training covers the areas of billing codes, collections, patient scheduling, and patient flow. This training is an integral component to the successful implementation of the musculoskeletal orthopedic rehabilitation program.
